Your agent.
Your team’s knowledge.
Work in the conversation you already have. Your agent reads and builds the shared knowledge; everyone can read it in a browser.
Ingest
Start with a source worth keeping.
Bring a document, meeting notes or a piece of research to your agent. It converts the material to text and stores an immutable source snapshot. You can keep the original file alongside it.
Your agent reads the source, finds the pages it touches and writes a connected set of changes with evidence. Storing a source and connecting it to shared knowledge are separate steps: unfinished work stays visible.
Try asking your agent“Add these onboarding notes to our space. Find what they change and keep the source.”
Answer
Ask a question. Get an answer you can follow.
Your agent browses or searches Treo, then reads the relevant pages. For important or contested claims, it checks the source passages behind them. Answers carry citations and any known disagreements.
If Treo does not cover the question, your agent says so. When an answer adds useful synthesis, it can offer to save it with your agreement. Reading and answering do not require write access.
Try asking your agent“What have we agreed about customer handovers? Show me the sources.”
Improve
Make the smallest useful change.
Correct a detail, add evidence, split a long page or merge overlapping ones. Your agent reads the current page and its evidence before submitting a change against that exact revision.
A batch commits in full or not at all. If someone else changed a page, your agent rereads it. If the evidence disagrees, it preserves both readings and marks the page disputed. A person decides how to settle it.
Try asking your agent“These notes change our handover process. Update the page and explain why.”
Review
Keep shared knowledge worth returning to.
Ask your agent to review a bounded set of pages. It checks stale evidence, broken links, unintegrated sources and disputed claims, then fixes routine problems and brings decisions back to you.
Reviews are recorded even when nothing changes. Maintenance hints help the next agent find work that is due. A client with scheduled tasks can run reviews on a schedule; maintenance depends on an agent doing the work.
Try asking your agent“Review the onboarding pages. Fix routine gaps and flag anything that needs a decision.”
Five tools. One shared knowledge space.
MCP gives your agent access to your space. The skill tells it how to work carefully with what it finds.
| Tool | Access | What it does |
|---|---|---|
treo.browse | Read | Discover accessible spaces, then browse pages, sources, changes and Knowledge space health. |
treo.search | Read | Find ranked passages from pages and sources, pinned to their current revisions. |
treo.read | Read | Read exact content, with evidence, backlinks or history when requested. |
treo.ingest | Write | Preserve a source snapshot from text or a one-time upload ticket. Ingestion alone does not write pages. |
treo.apply_changes | Write | Apply a checked batch of page changes, record source integration outcomes or record a review. All or nothing. |
Each call names a space, except when discovering spaces. Your current role and the connection’s scope determine what your agent can do.
One connection.
Four workflows.
Use the Treo MCP server and skill with Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. Exact install steps are coming with the release.
- MCP server URL
https://<deployment>.convex.site/mcpURL format shown above. The release will include the exact server address for your deployment.
- Treo skill
- A skill that guides ingest, answer, improve and review. The release package will bundle it with the server address.
- Sign in and connect
- Open the app, sign in and approve your agent’s connection in the browser. Its access is limited by your role and the scopes you approve.
